چکیده
In response to the demand from a growing number of people concerned about possible impact RF-EMF on health, French National Frequency Agency (ANFR) has published standardized protocol for in-situ measurements radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF). This was based search point highest field strength and use spot measurement. framework an epidemiological study, such were implemented in homes 354 participants located urban areas within 250 m mobile-phone base station (MPBS) main beam direction antenna. Among participants, more than half accepted be enrolled longer-term among whom 152 equipped with personal exposure meter (PEM) 48 h 40 seven continuous days. Both PEM quantified downlink strengths, i.e. FM, TV3-4-5, TETRA I-II-III, 2 GHz–5GHz Wi-Fi, WiMax, GSM900, GSM1800, UMTS900, UMTS 2100, LTE800, LTE1800, LTE2600. Spot showed mean/median 0.58/0.44 V/m total 0.43/0.27 MPBS. MPBS dominant source 64% households. Exposure influenced by position windows respect MPBS, particular line-of-site visibility, distance antenna floor apartment. The surveys measured higher during outings at home day night, but there no difference between weekends working There strong correlation both measurements, although measures approximately three times those PEMs. study is first assess living near France. These preliminary results suggest value using estimate evolution network technology populations RF-EMF. low levels RF-RMF expressed as mean values do not necessarily rule out health effects this exposure.

OBJECTIVES The aim of our study was to assess the health conditions and subjective symptoms of the inhabitants living in the base stations vicinity and to analyse the relationship between the complaints and level of exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF). MATERIALS AND METHODS Our study was performed in housing estates located in five regions of Łódź. The electric field measurements were pe...

BACKGROUND The erection of mobile telephone base stations in inhabited areas has raised concerns about possible health effects caused by emitted microwaves. METHODS In a cross-sectional study of randomly selected inhabitants living in urban and rural areas for more than one year near to 10 selected base stations, 365 subjects were investigated. Several cognitive tests were performed, and well...
